My experience-When will k finally feel better

So on Thursday we had a whole fiasco with our water heater that lead to a small flood in our apartment. It caused me to have a panic attack (I have been diagnosed with panic disorder)

That night I took my Zoloft without much food because I wasn’t very hungry. (This was a mistake as I had learned the hard way months earlier that sertraline is brutal on an empty stomach.)

Friday I woke up feeling sick to my stomach. I was so nauseous, having diarrhea and then a migraine started. The worst migraine I’ve had in years. I had to lock myself in a cold dark room. And light and sound was painful and I was seeing little sparkles.

Saturday I started to feel a little better but still having all the same symptoms.

I had to call out of work on Sunday because I was still feeling sick. The migraine was gone but I started having HORRIBLE brain zaps. (I have accidentally withdrawn from Celexa years ago so now I know what they feel like. However I’ve been on Zoloft for 9 months without missing a dose)

I guess I’m just wondering if I’m alone in this. I can’t find much online and I feel like I’m crazy. Took a Covid test just to see and it was negative. Has anyone else experienced this? I’ve had panic attacks my whole life but none that have left me feeling this terrible for so long afterwards. Maybe the panic attack and taking my meds on an empty stomach caused this?
