My experience-Anyone get a migraine that only hurts bending over? (After getting the flu)
Maybe migraine isn’t the right word for this, but I’ve always gotten my migraines in a specific spot (and that’s where it hurts. I do get them occasionally in other areas but that’s like 1 out of 10 migraines. I’ve gotten a pretty good hold on keeping them away and sometimes go a month without any migraine, and do not use any medication. I’m M/29 and 6’ 190lbs. Some high blood pressure, and not physically active.
Usual causes are either due to lack of sleep, or hunger.
However, I got the flu and had a fever for a long while (5 days) where it really just didn’t break. I had a pretty phlemmy cough, and it was very similar to how I felt with Covid (but I tested negative multiple times).
Now I have this weird residual type headache where it really only effects me when I bend over, or cough hard. Between bending over (I have been bending at the knees and it does help), it’s basically benign and not bothersome.
While usually those movements can make a migraine worse, it’s not usually a symptom that lingers. I’ve had it now for 5 days, and have been free of the flu for about a week.
