My experience-Is it status migrainosus if it stops hurting for a bit?

Hi there

My neurologist is out on vacation but she gave me emergency medication (steroids). I’m not sure if I should use them.

Basically I have had migraines since Thursday (so I’m on Day 4 now). I am maxed out on triptans for the day and week. When I take a triptan, two Tylenol and topical pain relief, I sleep soundly for about 2-3 hours. But when I wake up, the pain comes back within 15 minutes.

I’m not sure if this is status migranosis or not. I can’t take any meds for another 24 hours (maxed out) and really need some support.

Thank you.
