My experience-Tension Headaches after GON?

I was in Ajovy for 2 years which was life-changing, but my Dr is currently insisting on a ‘medication break’.

Instead I have been given nerve blocks every 6 weeks. They seem to help prevent the single-side stabbing migraines, but I end up with an awful intractable tension-like headache. Basically the muscles in my upper shoulders, neck and head feel like they are being squeezed.

Painkillers don’t seem to help. Yoga, professional massage and topical herbal treatments help, but it doesn’t last very long.

I am going a bit crazy with the constant pain. I am on holiday and I am seeing the sites, but the pain is ruining it. It is less painful than my usual migraines, but it is bad enough to be completely distracting.

Has anyone else experienced this?
