My experience-Brain fog? Or is there a better term?

Do you know the feeling when you walk into a room and then can’t remember why? And you try really hard to remember? (usually to give up lol)

With the onset of my migraines I’ve been doing that, but literally forgetting a word in the middle of saying said word. Same with sentences or thoughts. Just tonight I made a typical grocery run and literally felt lost in the store, couldn’t remember aisles, forgetting what my next item was.

I feel like I am going crazy… I always thought brain fog is feeling sluggish and hazy, which I’ve felt before. This isn’t the same.

Is this what is generalized as brain fog? Does anyone else get this???
