My experience-Migraine help?

Hello, first post in this sub I just found. I’ve had migraines off and on since my 20’s, I’m now 37. Never was a big issue but the last 4-5 years or so I’d be getting on average about 2 a week. Almost always waking up with the start of one that progresses throughout the day. Triptans do work, but they knock my ass out and I’m basically useless after taking them. Nurtec doesn’t have any noticeable side effects like the sumatriptan does, however insurance only covers 8 a month. I started taking Qlipta as a preventative about a year ago that worked great for a long time but doesn’t seem to preventing them anymore. I am a side sleeper, have gone through about 12 different pillows in the last year trying to alleviate the neck pain and migraines. I’ve tried sleeping on my back but almost always wake up on my side. In the last few months I’ve been getting facial muscle spasms in my cheeks/forehead/eyes when I lay down. Another new thing is that I will get a huge knot or cramp at the base of my skull that feels much like a bruise and is really uncomfortable. Those seem to last a day or two and get better. I’ve had MRI, And X-ray in the last year both came up fine. I’ve tried chiropractor, physical therapy as well as acupuncture and yoga but nothing be seems to work. They can be on either side or sometimes both. Best way to describe is neck pain, and a migraine around or behind my eye with pain in my sinuses, nose, forehead, cheeks and sometimes the front of my neck as well. I’d really like to be pain free but even on days without migraines I almost always have neck pain and often that leads to one the next day. Does anyone have similar experiences and have any suggestions??? Thanks for reading.
