My experience-How did you find your triggers?
I used to get bad headaches over the years from drinking which I thought was just part of a hang over. I’ve been alcohol free for a year and dealing with some other health related stuff but now I wake up with migraine 1-2 times a week on average. I have seen a neurologist and had a brain MRI which was normal. I’ve been taking magnesium and riboflavin daily and have Nurtec on hand but relief is hit or miss. Due to my health, I can’t take any NSAIDs or acetaminophen. I even tried an arm electric pulse thing which didn’t work.
I have a follow up appointment in February to discuss how to better manage migraines but curious how y’all figured out what triggers migraines for you. I lead a pretty uneventful life and eat healthy. Could probably drink more water. I feel pretty crappy most of the time with my other health stuff going on and it would be great to have more not so bad days, but they seem reserved for migraine time.
Thanks!!
