My experience-Occipital Neuralgia question

I had an MRI in 2019 that did not show any major issues. Just minor flares and a small amount of fluid. And since working closely with my doctors and a chiropractor I have managed to reduce my headache days greatly. The one thing that has not been resolved is the horrible stabbing ear, neck and eye pain. I used to think that this was being caused by my migraines but with better management I am realizing that it is these that are triggering migraine attacks. My question is for those of you who have been diagnosed with this, when they do the MRI is this something they have to be specifically looking for or did they just find it in your MRIs.

Today the pain in my neck and ear is awful! I just want some relief 🥲
