My experience-My docter is annoying (rant)

I (18m) am 99% sure I have 24/7 chroinc migraines. I had a MRI last month and everything is normal. So I know it has to be migraines. My migraines ussaly are mild pain and not so great symptoms (vertigo, awful brain fog, dizziness, loss of appetite). Light and smell can increase pain and make symptoms worse. I also often see sparkles in my vision when they get more intense. I can handle my migraines and go outside for walks or other outdoor things like 10% of the year.

Anyway my family docter always makes it seem I have tension headaches which I am stressed recently I been having migraines for 7 years, and chroinc for 5 years, then worse chroinc migraines for 2 years. Everytime I go he always tells me what a migraine is about onset then post migraine. Also I know more about Triptans ghen him apparently, and when asked where I got my info which is from you guys and research he gets annoyed since "WhAt Do tHeY kNoW" bro knows less about migraines then anyone on this sub. Dr. Snape living up to his name. He hates the internet and apparently people online who suffer with migraines are a unreliable source. He also loves to bring up the fact my dads dieing and asking if I have depression which I do (undiagnosed) from 5 years of beeing in pain and feeling hopeless. When my grandfather died 2 years ago he asked me the same thing trying to gaslight me into believing I have tension headaches. He did give me metoprolol since I asked for a preventative which makes me dizzy so idk about using it. I also love that he never tells me side effects of meds and I have to look it up myself. I will be seeing him next week to talk about the meds.

I have a neroulogist appointment from going to the ER in March and have a neroulogist appointment next April. I live in Canada and wait times bad, also getting a new family docter is hard right now, I will be getting a new one in the future.
