My experience-Constant, Never-Ending Migraines for Weeks Now

Hey everyone, just have some questions.

I never was one to really have migraines, until a month ago, when my physical & mental health took a nose dive. What started as a normal-seeming headache became a chronic, never-ending headache, accompanied by aura. From floaters to sparkling lights in the sky, to mild staticky vision, which is more noticeable in the dark. These optical symptoms have yet to subside, but have become a bit more mild, so to say. I’ve looked into VSS which I have concluded I have to a mild degree, but the headache has remained, although mild as well. The doctor diagnosed me with migraine with aura once I went, and I was prescribed Sumatriptan. I’ve yet to take the sumatriptan as I’m waiting until the headache becomes more severe, but overall, I am still feeling the headache linger.

So my questions are: 1) What are the side effects of sumatriptan; can they induce hearing loss? (I already have mild HL, which is why I ask)

2) Do any of you have lingering optical symptoms that last longer than a few hours?

3) Considering the severe amount of stress I underwent, can lowering stress levels alleviate this lingering headache?
