My experience-Stress Causing Tension Pain Despite Botox and Nurtec

Hi everyone, so I'm just getting back to work after about 3 1/2 months of disability leave due to migraine complications. I have a high stress job, and I'm finding the stress to be causing a lot of tension pain along my Occipital routes and in the back of my head. I received Botox about a month ago and take Nurtec every other day, but I'm still fighting this tension daily and I'm getting home and just collapsing on the couch and icing my head immediately.

I don't want to get into the habit of using NSAIDs daily, or using steroids too often, but something's gotta give. I will say that I'm not getting a migraine from the ON tension, and I think it's the Nurtec that's really helping the most, but again, the tension pain is up there, like 6-7/10 by the middle of my shift.

All that said, I'm wondering if anyone else has this Botox/Nurtec combo going and needs to supplement with something else due to stress related tension?
