My experience-Weight gain after starting on Beta Blockers??

Hi all, About 4 months back my neurologist put me on a combination of Beta Blockers and Amitryptaline for my migraines and the amazing news is that they have worked SO WELL. My migraines went from almost daily to probably less than 5 a month. AMAZING.

The bad news is that I feel like Ive put on a tonne of weight and feel constantly bloated. My clothes feel really tight and I feel very insecure these days.

My neuro says I should just accept it because the medication has improved my quality of life so much, oh, and to "eat less and exercise more" which Im trying but energy is tricky for me as I have a history of Lyme disease and CIRS.

Im 46 and was already starting to struggle with hormonal weight gain from perimenopause.

I just want to know Im not alone and if anyone can relate, please write in the comments!! Im happy to share my positive experience also for those interested in this treatment. :)
