My experience-vanaflaxine for migraines / chronic headache / TMJ - does it make you gain weight?

I've had chronic headaches for years which I call migraines, but to honest I dont know if they are officially migraines because I don't get an aura and thats what GPs seem to need to be sure its a migraine and not a different type of headache. I have TMJ and fibromyalgia (although I'm not sure if its really fibro or just chronic migraine). With the headaches I get all sorts of symptoms like fatigue, dizziness, neck pain, insomnia, nausea and feeling generally trembly and unwell. Its massively debilitating and I have 2 young children and a difficult job so I really dont need to feel like shit most of the time!

Anyway, today I was getting throbbing in my ear and a feeling of fullness in the ear and some googling led me back to vestibular migraine which i have wondered about previously due to the dizziness. One of the recommended treatments was 37.5mg venaflaxine (effexor). From a quick search it looks like people gain weight on venaflaxine, but most of them are on higher doses for depression. So I'm just wondering if you still gain weight on 37.5? I'm already struggling to lose the 10lbs I gained after baby number 2, I am really not up for taking anything thats going to make me heavier.
