My experience-Finally on Ajovy!

Hi there, first time poster but long time migraine sufferer. Earliest I recall having migraine is at the age of 12. I average around 20-25 migraine days a month. It is debilitating to say the least and very mentally, physically and emotionally exhausting. I, like most, have been on a myriad of preventatives. And also like most, they were not successful in treating them. Finally (?!) started seeing a neurologist last year. He upped my dose of Amitriptyline and kept me on Zomig for abortive. To no avail.

Enter last Thursday, another appointment to see the neuro to follow up and see if I was getting relief or if we needed to discuss different treatment options. He decided to start me on Ajovy. I have high hopes for this, as nothing has decreased the frequency, symptoms or duration.

I just went and picked up and administered my first dose. Fingers crossed.

Just wanted to say hi and that I feel like maybe I might be starting to see some light at the end of the tunnel. I just want to know what a pain free day feels like once again.
