My experience-Migraines and PNES
I’m new to this subreddit but not new to chronic migraines at all. I’ve been dealing with mine for about 4 years and a little over a year with a diagnosis. About 2 years ago my migraines became as severe as they are now, having only 1-2 days of relief per month. When I do get “pain free” days, my body shuts down entirely and I can hardly stay awake, collapse often, and become very irritable. Recently, I began having seizures about 2-4 times a day. I had no idea what was happening, and didn’t even know that PNES existed. I saw my neurologist and she diagnosed me a few weeks ago. I’ve figured out some of my other non-migraine related triggers caused by PTSD. I just wanted to know if anyone else was suffering from something similar and what you do to cope.
