My experience-Please help. is this vestibular migraine?
Hello. 28f, no health problems except anxiety. Last october I ended up in the er after a 12 day long headache - got a spinal tap and brain ct done, they said it must just be some weird migraine. Sent me home cause all my scans were fine.
So I've been dealing with on and off sinus pressure/tension headaches since. ENT said my sinuses and ears look amazing so cant be any problem with them.
Then two months ago I had an episode of about 2 weeks where I was dizzy and lightheaded and kinda like an off balance woozy feeling, with sore neck and the sinus pressure. It eventually went away and I wondered if it was a vestibular migraine.
Now, I've been dealing with the same thing again for the last 2 weeks. The lightheaded drunk off balance feeling on and off all day every day, the extremely sore neck, the sinus pressure and tension headache like feeling, my eyes feel like they cant focus on stuff, I am slightly sensitive to light and super sensitive to sounds. Can hardly look at screens they make it 100x worse. But I wouldnt say I have a severe headache like I would imagine a real migraine feels like.
Does anyone ever go through this? I have zolmitriptan but I'm scared to take it because I read something about it causing strokes. Feeling like i need to see a neurologist now. :(
