My experience-Just got back from the neurologist's...

I had an infusion done at the office. The one my office does is a magnesium infusion-- not Vyepti. But that's ok being that the CGRP stuff started to fail me left and right. :( My doctor said she HAD heard that the CGRP shots could stop working before, but today she made it like she hadn't! None the less, she gave me the other infusion and a prescription for propranolol. She said I have to try another drug class before getting approval for botox. And I have to have an MRI done too before she'll prescribe me any steroids or anything like that to break my migraine streak... so I'm hoping the infusion works instead! Have any of you had experience with that before?
