Migraine overview
A migraine is a headache that can purpose intense throbbing suffering or a pulsing sensation, typically on one facet of the head. It's often accompanied with the aid of nausea, vomiting, and excessive sensitivity to mild and sound. Migraine assaults can closing for hours to days, and the discomfort can be so excessive that it interferes with your each day activities. For some people, a warning symptom viewed as an air of secrecy takes location until now than or with the headache. My experience-Could glasses be a trigger?
Hello! I'm newly diagnosed with (mostly) silent migraine and I'm trying to figure out my triggers. One I'm curious about is really hard to describe -- the quick change in vision acuity when looking "around the edges" of my glasses (so a quick glance to the side where my glasses are thicker, or so far to the side that I'm no longer looking through my glasses at all).
I noticed a long time ago that I prefer to wear glasses with relatively large lenses and thicker frames, because small lenses and rimless glasses make me nauseous/give me vertigo because of this. But I didn't associate it specifically with migraine (mostly because I didn't know silent migraine was a thing until a few days ago).
DAE notice this, or recognize it as a trigger? Any other thoughts about glasses? Thanks!
