I have been on Emgality for the past 6 months or so, and each time after the injection, I would get severe headaches that would last 1-3 weeks, they would taper down, I would do the next injection, and then repeat.

Just told my neurologist about it and he put in an order for Aimovig. He never explained how it worked or the side effects or even how to use it, just that he sent it to my pharmacy. I've read some bad side effects and was wondering if anyone was in a similar position as me.

I also have mild chronic joint pain, and non convulsive seizures. With emgality, my appetite has also gone down and I've been more dizzy, nauseous, and brain foggy than usual.
