My experience-Primary stabbing headaches

I’ve been getting migraines since I was about 12 and have a lot of family members including my mom that also gets them. Im now 20 and a few years ago (around 4-5) I began to get ice pick headaches. I see a lot of articles and people talk about them occurring to them in the front or sides of their head and on the temples, but does anyone experience them in the back of the head? Like the occipital lobe area? I haven’t really seen anyone talk about getting them in this location and I am concerned if i should see a dr for this or not
