My experience-Still feeling symptoms after 3 days

I have occasional migraines maybe every few months and usually I'm able to just sleep them off, seems like they usually put me to sleep pretty quick. I had one most recently on Tuesday and it started out like that. I fell asleep about 6pm and woke up about 4am with my headache gone but unable to get back to sleep. I definitely felt a bit tired and out of it the day after which seemed normal but ever since then I've continued to feel out of it, almost like I just can't think straight or as hard as usual. I work an office job where I generally have to put a fair amount of thought into what I'm doing and I've felt like I'm having trouble keeping track of things in my head. It's almost the weekend so I'm hoping I can just sleep this off by Monday, but is this something other people have experienced? I definitely have had brain fog with migraines before but it's usually gone away along with the headache, having it last a few days afterwards seems unusual
