My experience-How severe/long lasting can a trigger be?

Caffeine is a definite major trigger for me. But does this seem possible?

Im experimenting with my trigger(s) and here’s what im finding. If I consume any amount of caffeine, like a single coke or a few ounces of coffee (equivalent 35-50 mg caffeine) I will get a migraine within two days. BUT, I’ll also continue feeling headachey and potentially getting more migraines for 10+ DAYS after consumption.

Is it possible to have such an intense and long lasting reaction to a trigger?
