My experience-Chiari Malformation 1

Found out I have this malformation upon getting a CT scan at the hospital when I went to get treated for my very painful migraine attack. Anyone else have this and also experience migraines? For those that don’t know, it is when the section of the skull containing the cerebellum is too small or deformed. This can add pressure in the skull & the cerebellum tonsils are displaced into the upper spinal canal. The ER doctor said that my case is congenital and not life threatening. According to my take home notes, this condition has the potential to cause headaches, neck/shoulder pain, vision issues, and insomnia. Thankfully I have an appointment with my neurologist this week to discuss this further.
