My experience-Desperately desperate
I don’t normally ask for advice on the internet but I’m definitely at my wits’ end:
I have been experiencing what everyone believes to be chronic migraines for the past month, non stop, everyday ALL day with no definitive cause. I am nauseous, weak, depressed and in excruciating pain. Whenever I don’t have a “headache” I feel like I’m drowning in mid air or have pressure in my head in varying locations and my jaw and neck. I can barely see and am extremely sensitive to light at an increasingly worsening rate.
I have been to the ER twice, a neurologist, ENT, my primary 3x and an optometrist.
No one has any clue why or what it is I have.
I haven’t been able to work in a month, I can’t look at screens for longer than a minute or two I can’t really do anything. I’m essentially disabled but on unpaid FMLA.
CT scan ok, Eyes look ok, vitals ok, blood work ok, chest, lungs, heart, kidneys and stomach ok and not pregnant.
I have an MRI this Friday and the soonest I could get in to see a TMJ specialist/ oral surgeon for possible TMD (which I doubt because I don’t grind or clench my teeth/ jaw or have any of the symptoms other than a migraine?) is May 26th.
At this rate I’m hoping someone just hits me with a bus and ends it.
Currently taking Qulipta 60mg for migraines but it’s done nothing so far other than make me sweaty and hot at night.
Ugh.
Has anyone else ever experienced this and if so what did they find out? Also I’m sorry to anyone who has had to go through this because I wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy.
