Migraine overview
A migraine is a headache that can purpose intense throbbing suffering or a pulsing sensation, typically on one facet of the head. It's often accompanied with the aid of nausea, vomiting, and excessive sensitivity to mild and sound. My experience-Neck pain/ shoulder injury possible source of migraines?
Hey y’all! I’m relatively new to the world of migraines and still going through the processes with my neurologist and other doctors of trying to see if there are any other underlying causes for my chronic migraines because they seemed to come out of nowhere into my life all of a sudden.
My question is - has anyone ever had migraines brought on or caused by a strain to your neck or shoulder? I fell and had a 6-month plus recovery to an impingement on my rotator cuff in my shoulder about a year ago. During that time I had a lot of pain in my shoulder, arm, neck, etc. my neurologist thought it could have potentially brought on my migraines and I’m just curious if this has been the case with anyone else and if so, how you dealt with it? This week im feeling returning pain in my shoulder for the first time in awhile and I’ve also had more brutal migraines than normal this week so I’m curious if they’re linked.
