My experience-Just Officially Diagnosed With Chronic Migraines
I got my first migraine in the fourth grade and Ive had them become increasingly worse ever since. Picked up really terribly around 2 years ago (I am a 22 nearly 23 year old woman) but Ive just been somewhat anxious/somewhat doubtful about seeking treatment. Always thought to myself that getting headaches cant be that big of a deal its just a part of life that I have to deal with. I didnt have insurance growing up so I didnt go to the doctor much except for emergencies so I guess Im just not used to it. Anyway, I got fed up with getting them around 4x a week and finally went. Got diagnosed immediately and prescribed 100mg Sumatriptan. Ive had it for 2 days and taken it twice now, once because I already had a migraine (didnt work) and once to prevent one that I felt coming on (worked!). I think Im having a weird side effect because my eye hurts like I got punched. Anyone else?
