My experience-Post covid migraine changes. Baffled.

Had covid 9/1 and felt like a zombie from hell until about November. Lingering HR issues and some weird tastes(garlic tastes like metal) but that’s all. I have had severe migraines for over 20 years, right before covid I had an average of 4-5 per month. Sumatriptan worked to cut the worst of it but there were multiple er visits. The baffling part: post covid I have had maybe 1 per month. And when I do get one the triggers are very different. Now they consist of mainly stress induced migraines. Specifically AFTER a stressful event-not DURING. Not complaining about the change at all, just afraid they will come back harder than before at some point. Has anyone else experienced a sudden change like this ever? I am mid 30s so I have also considered hormonal changes to be the culprit but I will be seeing a new neurologist in the new year.
