My experience-What should I do?

I’ve been suffering for a week from a migraine so bad that I want to gouge my right eye out. My migraines are frequently caused by a change in barometric pressure. We are having an “Indian Summer” here, where it was about 55° F last week, and almost 80° F this week.

I have blurred vision, tearing, and excruciating pain in my right eye, pain in the right side of my head, and even my neck.

It’s been so bad, I even bought a “migraine hat” (or whatever it’s called) through Amazon Prime to get it as fast as I could. I’ve tried my sumatriptan, cyclobenzaprine for my neck, Advil with acetaminophen (it’s called Dual Action Advil), and magnesium.

I know that I’ve been getting really severe headaches/migraines once or twice a year, the kind where you want to bang your head against the wall, pull your hair, and you just know the Emergency Room Migraine Cocktail won’t work.

So, do I try the Emergency Room Cocktail (and hope for better results this time), do I re-try my sumatriptan for the second time today, or do I just wait for Monday morning and try to get an infusion and some nerve blocks from my migraine specialist?

I don’t know what else to do.
