My experience-Migraine treatment as I emigrate from US to UK

I'm currently in the US and successfully treating my migraines with:

  • Ajovy
  • Trokindi XR
  • Nerve blocks every 3 months

Has anyone moved to the UK and gone through the process of getting new prescriptions? I understand they can't be "transferred" and that I'll need to bring my medical records and get new prescriptions written. How many months of prescriptions should I try to bring with me to carry me over until I get referred to a neurologist and get new prescriptions?

How hard is it to get nerve blocks? How common is it for a neurologist to do this? Will I have to travel to a larger city if I'm living in a smaller town (Canterbury)?

If anyone has done this before and can give me advice I'd really appreciate it. So many things to do and this part is making me nervous.

Thank you!
