My experience-Chronic tension headache. Today I tried an electric head massager tool. Not sure what to think of this experience.
I bought this tool (https://www.amazon.com/Swithun-Removable-Scratcher-Vibration-Waterproof/dp/B091CC51QW/ref=mp_s_a_1_3).
Normally I have this chronic tension headache 24/7, mostly on the temporalis muscle and on the base of my scalp at the back. I also have many muscle knots or triggerpoints on many places on my head.
Today I used that tool for the first time. It made my head feel a bit itchy at some places. When I was done it felt a little relieving, though at the same time the headache hadn't really disappeared. It felt kinda as if my head was glowing. And I actually got a little more of a throbbing headache with those veins above my temples a little expanded.
But then, one or two hours later, I got a worse headache than before, and it feels kinda different from my usual headache. It feels like "sharper" pain, and it worsens when I get up after sitting or laying for a while or if I start jumping.
I don't know what the increasing of pain when changing posture means, but other than that maybe my head got irritated by the massage. But now I'm unsure whether I want to try this again. Maybe my head needs to get used to it first? Idk. I was hoping this tool would help.
