My experience-Severe burning shoulder pain after Botox injections?

Hi y’all

I have been getting Botox injections for my migraines for over a year now. My last injection (last Wednesday) and since then I have had burning shoulder pain along with cramping type pain that’s like having a Charlie horse but in my shoulder blade. It’s been getting worse daily since the appointment. All other injection sites are normal and zero issues besides this one. I called my neuro who did the injections and they said that this pain isn’t common with the injections so it isn’t related and if the issue persists I should see my PCP. Normally I would agree, but because the pain is specific to the injection site and has only occurred since the injections lead me to believe otherwise.

I’m not too concerned and plan on just treated it as I would a pulled or torn muscle and take it easy. I’m curious to know if any of you have had any issues like this? How did you treat it? Was it a one-time occurrence?

Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
