About 15-20 years ago, I had a microbiology prof with horrible migraines. He would go to a Russian cash-only doctor, and get an injection once a month. For the life of me, I can't remember what it was- I don't think it was ergotamine or dihydroergotamine, I don't think they last for weeks at a time.

Anyone know what I'm talking about? I'm not a migraineur myself, I'm just trying to figure out what it was he was taking.
