My experience-Need some validation - had to cancel/reschedule important board exam today because of migraine

Hi y’all. Today I had my last board exam of medical school and woke up in the middle of the night and this morning with a raging migraine. Triptans and Excedrin didn’t touch it when they usually do. I should’ve realized yesterday I was having a pro drome bc I couldn’t spell or speak well and felt depersonalized but I just figured it was stress. It isnt the pain that is the worst part, my brain feels slow and I can’t form thoughts well. I got to the testing center and couldn’t really hold a conversation with the admin well and decided I wasn’t prepared to take a 9 hour test. I feel really guilty because I have been studying for a month straight and it will be significantly expensive to reschedule and I feel like the people in my life think I’m being dramatic and it’s “just a headache.” Everything will be fine in the end I’m just disappointed. /: that is all. Sorry also bc I know lots of people go through the same thing regularly too.
