Migraine overview
A migraine is a headache that can purpose intense throbbing suffering or a pulsing sensation, typically on one facet of the head. It's often accompanied with the aid of nausea, vomiting, and excessive sensitivity to mild and sound. Migraine assaults can closing for hours to days, and the discomfort can be so excessive that it interferes with your each day activities. For some people, a warning symptom viewed as an air of secrecy takes location until now than or with the headache. An air of secrecy can consist of visible disturbances, such as flashes of mild or blind spots, or different disturbances, such as tingling on one thing of the face or in an arm or leg and concern speaking.
My experience-reallyyy bad zap headaches in random places
id get super hurtful pains in the top or back of my head, like a zap, that comes on suddenly and lasts one second. It goes away after that. Id rate it a 8/10 on the pain scale. Worst ive ever experienced in my life. Then sometimes comes on dull pain in other parts of the head immediately after, like the temples or the jaw. (i have been to the ER like twice, got a brain MRI, all clear, but this pain is different to back then...) sometimes the pain is a numbing pain. an area of my brain becomes colder and numb, yet painful like a 6/10 pain. sometimes the pain would feel like someones pinching my scalp or the skull, again like a 7/10 painful. all of these can be followed by a domino effect of duller pains in other random parts of the head with a pain score of like 4/10. This occurance happens very often in a day, has been for consecutive days for a week. I know the worst pain of my life thing is alarming, for stroke symptoms, but i dont think i am? I dont have any other symptoms right now. The location used to be on both left and right side of my head the first few days, but now its more focused on the right side. i.e the right top, right back, right jaw, although sometimes dull pain can be found across my forehead or my sinuses or temples.
these random zaps can vary in pain from 3/10 to 8/10 and are so painful and annoying. They come on when im not stressed, and when im not even doing any activity like talking/walking/other strenious activities. i have taken ibuprofen for it already, not getting better. for the record im 20 female, no other medical history or prescribed/recreational drugs, o dont drink, social smoker, have chronic stress disorder.
anyone else know what this is? or what i should do? edit: also do migraines happen in multiple parts of the head? random areas like mine? do stroke headaches happen for like one second like my zaps and then disappear? im trying to find out what it is.
