My experience-(RANT) Neurologist discontinued my prescription of Rizatriptan without warning

About last week i had an appointment with my neurologist and asked her to refill my Rizatriptan, and she said she would with no problem (she has refilled it before with no issue.) I had to wait until the weekend was over until she would do it because her office is closed on the weekends, which i was fine with, no big deal.

But on Monday after my pharmacy told me they haven’t gotten any calls / refill requests from my neuro, i find out that she had discontinued my prescription with no warning at all. Hardly anybody at her office answers the phone, and it always just goes to voicemail when i try and find out what’s going on.

It’s Thursday today, i’ve been out of them for a more than a week, and i still have no answers as to why that happened / why she would do that. Rizatriptan is the only thing that really helps me with my migraines atm and i’ve been having to take Alieve and Advil like crazy (which hardly work) while i’ve been waiting for answers (and she already had told me to stop taking the Alieve + Advil as often at the appointment last week, but now i’m having to take even more than i already had because she didn’t refill my prescription.)

I swear nobody understands the pain we feel from migraines (not even a neurologist) and i’m so frustrated.
