My experience-More frequency after Covid?

I’m 40f and have had migraines since childhood, diagnosed at 18.

I usually have a migraine every two weeks, three tops and with triptans it’ll come and go for about 3 days.

For the last year I’ve had Botox every three months which eliminated the daily neck ache and near-daily non-migraine headache I’d had my entire life. Yay 😁 the severity of attacks also went waaaaaay down. I also got Nurtec for acute treatment and it works better than any triptan.

I’ve followed the heal your headache diet and found that msg, alcohol, and lunch meat were problems and eliminated them.

I had side effects but no headache (!) with all three Pfizer vaccines.

In July I had a fairly mild case of Covid. I recovered in a week. Never had a headache during that time. I was stunned. I took advantage of sleeping so much and feeling crappy to quit my one coffee a day I hadn’t been able to give up.

Since then I noticed I’ve been having very mild migraines every other day or more. I have run out of my nurtec AND triptan prescriptions for the last week of the month since I had Covid.

The attacks are very mild and occasionally go away with an Aleve and a pepto bismol + ice but I usually end up taking an abortive because I can’t stand even mild symptoms. I need to work and live my life!!!

Is this common after Covid even if you didn’t have a headache during the actual Covid itself? Or is it because I quit coffee? I can’t think of any other changes the last two months.
