Migraine overview

A migraine is a headache that can purpose intense throbbing suffering or a pulsing sensation, typically on one facet of the head. It's often accompanied with the aid of nausea, vomiting, and excessive sensitivity to mild and sound. Migraine assaults can closing for hours to days, and the discomfort can be so excessive that it interferes with your each day activities. It started last night.. I was just laying in bed, enjoying the soreness from my workout earlier. I had drank ~100oz of water, had ~100g of clean proteins, no junk food (just munching on some fresh grapes)… and then.. the tingle. You probably know what that feels like.. that tingling path the usual headache in the back takes when it’s migrating to stage center of the Shit Show. It must’ve been a tele-thon show, because it raged all night and I barely slept. Around dawn, I tuned out a bit - only to be woken up by the American Bandstand of pulsing pain. I tried to appease this Lord of Punishments with gifts of Advil, Tylenol, and caffeine. And for awhile, it appeared to have distracted the beast. I took this as my chance to get a quick workout in; nothing crazy, just a brisk walk on the treadmill to get my aching body moving. Just like a bored Cerberus, it dropped the offering of pills like a broken squeaky toy, and slammed me back into the Land of OMG Make It Stop. I had to leave gym before finishing lest I toss my cookies on the floor.

I came home, and this monster let loose on me like a bratty teenager when you turn the wifi off. I’ve offered double anxiety meds, tramadol, Advil, Tylenol, caffeine, and the souls of my first born, to no avail. How I am still upright is a mystery for the ages. Many years from now, the world’s descendants will sing stories of this migraine…

For now, I suffer..
