My experience-Can a daith piercing make migraines worse?

I had a daith piercing on my right side two days ago. I'm not expecting anything, I just thought it would look cute and any migraine relief is a bonus.

However, the morning after I had it done, I had a migraine on my right side, where I usually get them on my left. It was the same this morning too. This is fairly normal when I'm getting to the end of my period, which is the case right now. But I don't want to have made my migraines worse.

Before the mods comment, I know the question of daith piercings and migraines has been asked millions of times. But is there anything to suggest they can make migraines worse and if so, what can I do?
