My experience-Is there any reason to be worried about long-term effects of inhibiting calcitonin receptors (the mechanism of Amovig and friends)?

I was reading up on amovig and other CGRP-R antagonists and one thing that has been holding me back is the lack of knowledge around the role that CGRP-R plays in normal signaling. It would really suck to be on Amovig for a decade and then learn "oh shit, CGRP-R was also involved in tumor suppression."

Does anyone any insights into this, or am I just being paranoid?
