Migraine overview
A migraine is a headache that can purpose intense throbbing suffering or a pulsing sensation, typically on one facet of the head. My experience-Best supplements you’ve found for migraine preventative?
I’m reading a lot about adenosine and how it can bring on a migraine, especially because it also causes serotonin uptake and depletes serotonin stores. (My knowledge is limited so I could be wrong but I’ve read a few things from PubMed and other sources). So, out of curiosity. Would quercetin, an adenosine antagonist, help with migraines? Or maybe something like tryptophan since it boosts serotonin?
Are there supplements you use for migraine prevention?
For me, the only things that have worked are Sumatriptan and Amitriptyline, which is what makes me think it has something to do with my serotonin.
I also cross posted in nootropics and stack advice, but wanted to ask here too in case anyone had knowledge on the topic or had experience with any supplements helping!
