My experience-Amitriptyline for menstrual migraine prevention?

Has anyone had any luck with this as a preventative for menstrual migraines? I’ve recently started to get vestibular migraines in combination with my regular migraines so I’m just miserable. Any other suggestions that have worked for you as a preventative that also works on menstrual migraines since they’re the toughest to get rid of and keep away?

Also, I’ve recently started continuous combined BC (yes I know if you have aura there’s an increased risk of stroke or blood clot) to see if skipping my period helps at all.
