My experience-Headaches/pressure

Hello, 2 weeks ago I moved from Southern California to Dubai, where it is humid with triple digits everyday in summer. The first week or so, I was completely fine. In fact, I liked the heat. But now, since 5 or so days ago, I have been experiencing constant pressure in my sinuses/face, jaw, and head. It’s not really pain, it just feels like pressure. I went to a sinus specialist, and he said there were no signs of any sinus issues/infection, and that my body is just not used to this environment. He even took an X-ray. He advised that I take Aerius (one a day before bed) and Nasonex twice a day to relive my symptoms until I feel better. I just want to know is this normal? Why was I fine the first week but all of a sudden having this issue? Could it be the weather and my body just started to get affected? Any one else have experience with this? Should I be concerned? I am terrified of brain cancer. Thank you
