My experience-new to frova and nervous to try

i have a lot of heath anxiety and almost always get the side effect of meds (which i’ve tried a lot of over the years). i’ve basically stayed off all prescriptions for a long while now besides PRN anxiety meds that i know work for me.

however, my migraines have become unbearable in the last year+ so i finally caved and saw a specialist. they’re especially cyclical premenstrually, and always when my period is ending (today). i feel the sensitivity, i’ve got aura, and my neck is especially achey. i know it is suggested to wait until the headache starts, but i am also seeing it often takes two hours to work. also, my specialist said i can take it for a few days or so this one week a month.

tdlr; i feel a migraine coming on and would love encouragement to try frovatriptan! i’m open to hearing negative experiences but would love positive feedback/absence of side effects
