My experience-Did your migraine suddenly get worse for no particular reason?

I normally have migraines but am on amlodipine and I just take otc stuff when I have a migraine. Normally my migraines are very mild and rarely make me completely disabled for the day.

However today it just all went to shit. I never had flashing lights/blurred vision until today, it immediately progressed to severe nausea and vomiting with pretty much the worst headache of my life. The pain feels the same as my migraines but everything is just worse.

Do anyone else's migraines get worse like this? It's a Saturday so my PCP is not open, if I don't get by tomorrow better I may just go to urgent care to ask for imitrex and zofran.
