My experience-Ubrelvy Tolerance

I've been using 100mg Ubrelvy as a migraine abortive for...2 years now? I started it when it came out and really liked it. 50mg wouldn't work for me, but 100mg did. It doesn't knock me out or give you the horrid burning sensation that some migraine meds do. I have always felt overheated with a migraine and will notice I suddenly get the chills as Ubrelvy clearly kicks in...and it is slower than others that I've taken in the past...but it's safer for heart health.

Now, in the last month it takes 2 doses to get rid of my migraine. Yesterday, 2 did not do it and I learned that I couldn't take anything more. So, it looks like it's time to look for another migraine abortive and I'm so emotional over it.

Sumatriptans began giving me heart palpations after taking them for...jeez...20 years? So those are a no go. I tried Nurtec, but it didn't work for me and if it doesn't work, you can't take another dose for 24 hours. I see Reyvow now be listed...seems to be new since I shopped for a new migraine med...but I'm not taking that after reading up on it. I don't want anything that messes with serotonin.

I do Botox for my chronic migraine. I have 20+ migraines a month without it. So I'm basically living in a constant state of cluster migraines. Botox brings it down to approximately 5 migraines a month, but I have to have a migraine abortive to end it. Nothing else will end my migraine. Is there anything else out there that won't affect heart health nor serotonin? I've failed on the self administered preventive shots and every single medication they try using offlabel to treat migraines.

Sorry for the rambling and most likely grammatical errors, thanks to migraine fog.
