My experience-Long term SOLUTIONS for citrus sensitivity

Hello my fellow migraine sufferers,

As many of us know there seems to be a gut-migraine connection.

Heck I have gotten rid of my migraines for 6 months before by doing elemental diet exclusively for 2 weeks, followed by rifaximin for 2 weeks to change my gut microbiome.

I am not alone in this, as many people have found that doing diets that change the microbiome such as keto, can change your frequency of migraines, such as found in this study here:

However in the last year I have developed a sensitivity to citrus. Every time I eat citrus I get a migraine. I was reading that it had something to do with copper levels in our bodies.

I was wondering if anyone who specifically had citrus as a migraine trigger, was able to figure out how to solve it through any diet changes or supplementations. Especially in the summer- I would love to be able to enjoy citrus:key lime pie, ceviche, orange juice, water with lemon... but currently cannot :(

Thanks in advance for the help!
