My experience-Migraines; toprimate, propanol, sumatriptan, you name it, I've tried it.
I've suffered with migraines since I was about 5. 32f now. It took a very long time for a doctor to listen and put me on daily preventatives. My migraines have never fully gone, I have chronic 8-10+ per month. Usually in bed 2days with each.
I seem to have some relief with new treatments where I will still get migraines but nowhere near as intense, but then after about 12 weeks my body seems to get used to it and they return with vengeance.
I am on the highest toprimate dose and I have started on propanalol around 8 weeks ago. I also have sumatriptan for an attack and cocodamol as pain relief.
Does anyone know anything else I can be asking for now? Bloods always come back fine.
It's exhausting! The episodes seem to be lasting longer and even if I have a break from the worse of the pain, it's always lingering there and I can't do full activities and will return within the same day etc even if I feel I am recovered.
