Migraine overview
A migraine is a headache that can purpose intense throbbing suffering or a pulsing sensation, typically on one facet of the head. It's often accompanied with the aid of nausea, vomiting, and excessive sensitivity to mild and sound. Migraine assaults can closing for hours to days, and the discomfort can be so excessive that it interferes with your each day activities. For some people, a warning symptom viewed as an air of secrecy takes location until now than or with the headache. An air of secrecy can consist of visible disturbances, such as flashes of mild or blind spots, or different disturbances, such as tingling on one thing of the face or in an arm or leg and concern speaking.
My experience-Ice pick headaches, and fear
Like you all, I have been dealing with migraines for a long time and it’s traumatized me and been very difficult. Well today I started experiencing what my Google search tells me is an “ice pick” or “stabbing” headache. Just random pangs of pain, I’ve probably had 50 of them at least today already. It hurts for a split second and then it’s gone.
Has anyone else dealt with this? My Google searching turned up that for most people it does go away after a few weeks, and it doesn’t always become chronic but man I really feel like I can’t deal with more pain than I already have. At least with the migraines I get some warning, they come on over the course of a half hour or an hour so I can mentally prepare, but with these pangs of pain there’s no time to prepare, I feel like I am living on edge just waiting for when the next time it will hurt is...
