My experience-Could this be migraine?

Maybe once a month or so I wake up in the middle of the night with extreme nausea. I also often pass out which I think is from blood pressure changes from needing to puke (unfortunately I’m emetophobic so I don’t). Lasts anywhere from 15 mins to several hours.

I’ve seen doctors about it twice and both said it was probably GERD and gave me medications but they aren’t working, I still have these weird spells. Been happening about 10 years.

I also get chronic tension headaches which I treat successfully with Botox.

I have had one migraine that was a headache that happened as a result of surgery, it was nightmareish.

I am curious about migraine because I’ve heard they don’t always involve pain but can involve strange neurological/gastric symptoms.

Thanks!
