My experience-Common symptoms? Tingling after aura in face and hand

Hi all,

I’ve been diagnosed with Retinal Migraine (vasospasm retinal migraines) and I had a thumbprint (or what kinda looked like one) show up in the left eye. Then a few minutes later the left side of my face only went tingly, eye pain started and surrounding eye socket, then about 10 minutes later my left hand started tingling and became more sensitive. This included what felt like pressure in the left side of my head and I felt kind of out of it. Nothing happened on the right side.

It is all starting to calm down now, but I’ve not had the tingling sensations before, so I was kind of freaking out thinking I was having a stroke, but I have not gone to urgent care or the ER (maybe I’m being dumb idk). The only recent change is I donated platelets yesterday and started taking Magnesium Glycinate 200mg x2 a day as of early this past week.

I’ve already contacted my Neurologist’s office to request a doc appointment. Does anyone else get these symptoms?
